Introducing the Employee Resources Spouses’ Corner

Release Date: February 17, 2021

Did you know that you can find information and resources available specifically for your spouse or significant other on the DHS Employee Resources website?

The Employee Resources Spouses’ Corner webpage lists resources available to spouses and partners of DHS employees, including how to improve communication, cope with non-traditional work schedules, talk about challenging or traumatic events, and more.

Spouses’ Corner also provides links to other family resources and benefits for DHS employees. You can find information on a variety of topics, including parenting and childcare, information about managing financial challenges, and help with supporting your elderly relatives.

Your Employee Assistance Program is Here to Help

If you are experiencing a difficult situation in your family, your Component Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help. Your EAP provides you and your eligible household members with free and confidential support for any family challenge. If you are looking to maintain healthy family relationships, EAP can help with that as well.

EAP assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more information, contact your Component EAP or send an email to worklife@hq.dhs.gov.
