Federal Benefits Open Season Begins Next Week

Release Date: November 8, 2023

This year, Federal Benefits Open Season runs from November 13 to December 11. Take time to review your health, dental, and vision insurance coverage to decide what plans best suit you and your family’s needs for the upcoming year.

During Open Season, you can enroll, change your plan, change your enrollment type, or cancel your enrollment for the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHB) and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP). During this time, you can also enroll or re-enroll in the Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS).

Virtual Health Benefits Fair

If you want to learn more about your benefits for the upcoming year or the various health, dental, and vision carriers, register for the Virtual Benefits Fair. Representatives from all participating carriers will be available to take your questions during live chat sessions from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET on the following days:

  • Tuesday, November 14, 2023
  • Tuesday, November 21, 2023
  • Thursday, November 30, 2023
  • Thursday, December 7, 2023
