Today, June 18th, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad F. Wolf will travel to San Francisco, CA to participate in an award ceremony for Federal Protective Service (FPS) Protective Service Officer (PSO) Sombat Mifkovic and the five other officers who responded to a shooting on May 29th during civil unrest that resulted in his severe injury and took the life of FPS PSO Dave Patrick Underwood.
Tomorrow, on June 19th, Acting Secretary Wolf will represent the 240,000 men and women of DHS when he joins the Underwood family in honoring Officer Underwood, a fallen hero who made the ultimate sacrifice, at a memorial service.
