Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Duke to Visit Houston Tomorrow

WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Elaine Duke will participate in a media availability in Houston, Texas regarding the Hurricane Harvey response and recovery. While in Texas, Acting Secretary Duke will meet with FEMA, U.S. Coast Guard, and Customs and Border Protection personnel working on response and recovery efforts, as well as state, county, and local officials. Additionally, she will participate in an aerial tour of Houston, Harris County, Beaumont, and Jefferson County, and visit a Red Cross shelter in Port Arthur, Texas.
