The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) today announced the commercialization of the 20th technology through its Transition to Practice (TTP) Program since the program launched in 2013.

S&T partners with the NIST CFTT project to provide forensic tool testing reports to the public. The CFTT project has established a methodology for testing computer forensic software tools utilizing tool specifications, test procedures, test criteria, test sets, and test hardware.
The CSD within S&T, the FEMA Office of NCRC, the FEMA OCSO, and the FEMA OCIO have partnered to form the PIV-I/FRAC Technology Transition Working Group (TTWG).
