On Apr 18, 2022, the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) assisted state and local law enforcement with protecting Boston Marathon participants and observers.
Secretary Mayorkas traveled to Panama City, Panama, to discuss regional coordination in managing irregular migration. As part of the visit, he attended a Ministerial Conference on Migration and Protection with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and foreign and security ministers from throughout the Western Hemisphere.
