El Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (Departamento o DHS) invita al público a comentar sobre barreras y desafíos, sugerencias e ideas para ayudar en el avance del programa de justicia ambiental del Departamento, lograr una participación significativa del público en la toma de decisiones y abordar los desafíos que enfrentan las comunidades con inquietudes de justicia ambiental relacionadas con los programas y actividades del DHS. El 11 de diciembre de 2023, el DHS emitió una Solicitud de Información (RFI), ID de expediente: DHS-2023-0048, en el Registro Federal haciendo preguntas específicas. El período de comentarios públicos estará abierto durante 60 días y cerrará el 16 de febrero de 2024.
