Secretary Kelly to Travel to Detroit

WASHINGTON – On Monday, March 27, Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly will travel to Detroit. Secretary Kelly will be joined by U.S. Senator Gary Peters, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Together they will observe Northern border operations and meet with DHS personnel, local immigration stakeholders and Arab American community members. While in Detroit, Secretary Kelly and Senator Peters will participate in a media availability.

*Credentialed media planning to attend must RSVP gillian.christensen@hq.dhs.gov by Monday, March 27 at 8:00 AM EDT. Additional logistical information will be provided upon receipt of an RSVP. On the day of the event, media must arrive no later than 12:30 PM EDT for security purposes.
