Master Trainer Certification Roadmap

The National Threat Evaluation and Reporting Office's Master Trainer Program certifies individuals as Master Trainers in the instruction of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management techniques and best practices. To obtain certification as a Master Trainer, candidates must successfully complete each component of the Master Trainer Certification Roadmap below.

Please Note: The Roadmap does not need to be completed in order.

  • Request Enrollment in the Instructor Development Threat Evaluation and Reporting Course (ID-TERC)

  • Attend the Master Trainer Orientation Webinar

  • Complete the SAR Fundamentals and Processes eLearning

  • Successfully Complete the ID-TERC Teach Back
