S&T New Website

Release Date: November 13, 2014

Welcome to our new website!

I am excited about this new avenue to communicate with our stakeholders.  Envisioned as a one-stop for everything S&T, this new site will be an important tool to provide access and transparency for all of you, our partners and stakeholders.

On this site you’ll find information about our organization; programs and research areas; S&T’s vision and direction; how we conduct our research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) projects; and, perhaps most importantly, where and how to plug in.

We are doing a lot of exciting and innovative work here at S&T. We’re developing tools to make firefighters, police, emergency medical personnel and other emergency responders safer and more effective. We’re developing capabilities to provide early warnings of chemical, biological, radiological, and explosive threats. We’re evaluating technologies for use in protecting our borders, screening at checkpoints, mitigating damage to critical infrastructure, and getting the nation’s communities back to normal after a natural or man-made disaster. We’re also protecting the cyber infrastructure, creating new defensive and forensic capabilities.

To accomplish this broad mission, S&T partners with industry, academia, and federal, state and local government agencies – including international partners – to find the solutions to the myriad of challenges we face.

I invite you to explore our new website and get a feel for what’s going on in S&T’s world. Then connect with us so we can work together to achieve our goal of protecting this great nation.
