“Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Deputy Secretary Jane Holl Lute will travel to Germany, England and Sweden July 19-24 to strengthen ties with our European counterparts and enhance our collaboration in combating terrorism, illegal migration and other global security issues. In Germany, Deputy Secretary Lute will visit an Air Marshals training facility, observe the DHS Immigration Advisory Program at Frankfurt Airport and meet with German officials to discuss counterterrorism, law enforcement and other homeland security issues. In England and Sweden, she will discuss immigration, counterterrorism initiatives and transnational crime with her English and Swedish counterparts, respectively.”
