DHS/OBIM/PIA-003 Technical Reconciliation Analysis Classification System (TRACS)

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) operates the Technical Reconciliation Analysis Classification System (TRACS), an information management tool used for reporting and analysis of the Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT) records to support OBIM’s information sharing coordination activities with external agencies and foreign partners. These partners are charged with national security, immigration, or law enforcement responsibilities. OBIM is retiring and reissuing the previously published Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to identify new functionality supported by TRACS. July 2020
