International Organization for Migration (IOM) Help Desk

Body

As part of the U.S. government’s efforts to reunite families that were unjustly separated at the U.S.-Mexico border, the International Organization for Migration operates a Help Desk to provide free information and assistance for separated families who want to start the reunification process. Families that believe they may be eligible can contact the Help Desk with questions. Please see the flyers below for additional information.

  • Ask for help by e-mail: FRTF@iom.int
  • Ask for help by phone: available Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Mountain Time/Guatemala/El Salvador/Honduras. Specific phone numbers by country are on the flyers at the links below.

The Help Desk was made possible through funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to IOM, and in coordination with the Interagency Family Reunification Task Force.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) assumed responsibility for the Family Reunification Task Force Help Desk on May 1, 2023.
