Resources

The DHS S&T National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) works side-by-side with first responders to effectively plan and execute tests, evaluations, and assessments of existing and emerging technologies and equipment. NUSTL produces focus group reports, assessment reports, market survey reports, technotes, application notes, guides, handbooks and other types of knowledge products through its System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) program. These knowledge products provide emergency responders with information to inform their operational and procurement decisions.

NUSTL's 5-year Strategic Plan

This strategic plan outlines the high-level goals and strategies that the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) will pursue to keep pace with evolving first responder needs as it works to address emerging threats across the nation.
