I congratulate all of the individuals recognized as D.C.’s Top 50 Women in Technology for 2015 by FedScoop, including three distinguished leaders here at the Department of Homeland Security: National Protection and Programs Directorate Under Secretary for Cybersecurity and Communications Dr. Phyllis Schneck, Deputy Chief Information Officer Margie Graves and Executive Director of the Information Sharing Environment Office Donna Roy.

  • Since arriving at the Department, Dr. Phyllis Schneck has worked to strengthen our partnerships with the private sector to secure cyber networks while developing a world-class cybersecurity workforce.
  • Margie Graves has worked to develop the Department’s information technology systems, while overseeing $1.6 billion in information technology programs.
  • And Donna Roy has worked to share information on intelligence and ensure collaboration across the Department, while reserving security protocols.

These achievements represent the important and vital role that DHS plays in ensuring the safety and security of our Nation. Congratulations again to all of these top women for their accomplishments.
