WASHINGTON – Acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security David Pekoske will make an official visit to Tampa, Florida, to participate in Super Bowl Security Day, Wednesday, Feb. 3. The Acting Deputy Secretary will meet with security officials, tour the Super Bowl LV Joint Operations Center and Raymond James Stadium, and receive a briefing on the Department’s support and coordination with local and NFL officials. The Acting Deputy Secretary will also participate in the NFL Security Press Conference to discuss the Department’s role in supporting state, local and federal public safety partners to ensure the security of those attending the event.
