DHS @ SXSW 2021 Online – Making R&D Work for You!

In collaboration with U.S. Government research and development (R&D) partners, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) will be speaking at South by Southwest (SXSW) Online on March 18, 2021.

Learn how investments in science, research and technology are helping the country bounce forward from the pandemic. With a focus on public safety, infrastructure protections and transportation security, DHS is mobilizing whole-of-government innovation teams to enhance resilience equity for communities vulnerable to systemic shocks and persistent stressors, brought by natural and man-made disasters

On Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. CT, don’t miss our interactive virtual panel discussion “Getting Life Back: Making Research Work for You.” Innovators from DHS, EPA, NSF and our Queens Borough partners will speak to how investments in technology and data solutions are making societal impacts to ensure no community is left behind during COVID-19 recovery efforts.

This conversation will take an in-depth look at the role whole-of-government partnerships play in fast-tracking new solutions to enhance the economic, health and security well-being of the country.
