On May 28- June 1, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to Berlin to co-chair the Security Cooperation Group, the bilateral forum with the German Federal Ministry of the Interior that oversees cooperation between the Ministry and DHS. He will continue to Dresden to attend the meeting of the Interior Ministers of the European Union Group of 6 (France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the UK).
On June 2-3, Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will travel to Latvia to participate in the U.S.-EU Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting. Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will meet with international counterparts to discuss collective efforts to combat terrorism, enhance aviation security, secure cyberspace, and address other homeland security-related priorities.
