  • DHS/TSA/PIA-034 – TSA Enterprise Performance Management Platform (EPMP)

The Enterprise Performance Management Platform (EPMP) is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) system is designed to assist in performing security management functions using a wide variety of data associated with security, equipment, and screening processes from TSA’s security activities. EPMP maintains Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on members of the public in excess of basic contact information, which triggered the requirement to conduct the original EPMP Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) dated May 10, 2011. TSA updated this PIA to reflect 1) the inclusion of the Visible Information Management System (VIMS), a data management module within the EPMP framework that supports the Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) Program; 2) the transfer of payroll transactions for Transportation Security Officers (TSO) from the Performance Management Information System (PMIS) to the Airport Information Management (AIM) System; and 3) the storing of PII on individuals identified in the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) as posing a threat to transportation or national security in the AIM System.

  • DHS/USCIS/PIA-040 – Center Adjudication System Electronic Processing (CasePro)

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) developed this Center Adjudication System Electronic Processing (CasePro) system to assist with the adjudication of Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Enforced Departure (DED), and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) filings. CasePro electronically organizes and reviews incoming filings, identifies approvable cases, automates the adjudication of some cases which meet filing requirements, and routes filings requiring additional review to the manual resolution process. USCIS conducted this Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to describe how CasePro collects, uses, and maintains Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

  • Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems Program

Part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)’s mission is to facilitate legitimate international trade. • DHS/ICE/PIA-032 FALCON Search & Analysis System (FALCON-SA)

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is establishing a consolidated information management system called FALCON Search & Analysis System (FALCON-SA). This system enables ICE law enforcement and homeland security personnel to search, analyze and visualize volumes of existing information in support of ICE’s mission to enforce and investigate violations of U.S. criminal and administrative laws. This Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) is necessary because FALCON-SA accesses and stores personally identifiable information (PII) retrieved from DHS, other government agencies, and commercially available databases. It is also necessary to provide public notice of the existence of FALCON-SA and to publicly document the privacy protections that are in place for the system

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has deployed an information system called the Data Analysis & Research for Trade Transparency System (DARTTS), which is a component system of HSI's larger Repository for Analytics in a Virtualized Environment (RAVEN) platform.

  • Task Force on CyberSkills Transmittal Letter

On June 6, 2012, Secretary Napolitano announced the formation of a Task Force on CyberSkills with a two-part mandate: first, to identify the best ways DHS can foster the development of a national security workforce capable of meeting current and future cybersecurity challenges; and second, to outline how DHS can improve its capability to recruit and retain that sophisticated cybersecurity talent.
