Cyber Security Division Transition to Practice Program Video

DHS S&T’s Transition to Practice (TTP) program was identified as a top White House priority to accelerate the transition of federally funded cybersecurity research and technology into the marketplace.  The program builds on the DHS S&T Cyber Security Division’s process of funding projects through the full research and development life cycle: research, development, test and evaluation, pilots, and transition. The goals of the TTP program are: (1) identify mature technologies that address an existing cybersecurity gap in systems that impact national security, (2) identify and fund necessary improvements identified during pilot programs and test and evaluation activities, and (3) introduce new cybersecurity technology throughout the HSE through partnerships and commercialization. Key Presenters Andy Ozment, Former Senior Director for Cyber Security White House National Security Staff Elena Peterson, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory John Serafini, Vice President, Allied Minds Michael Pozmantier, DHS S&T Cyber Security Division Program Manager, TTP Celeste Matarazzo, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Joshua Neil, Los Alamos National Laboratory
