The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate’s (S&T’s) Emerging Risks and Technologies (ERT) program is a partnership led by S&T and includes the DHS Office of Policy and DHS components. The program will develop and sustain a risk assessment methodology that identifies emerging risks, including emerging technologies, to homeland security missions in the next three to five years.

Toward this end, the partnership will leverage internal subject matter assessments and engage with interagency, academic, industry and foreign partners to conduct assessments, studies and analyses to identify and prioritize emerging risks and technologies—and opportunities to mitigate the adverse impacts of emerging technologies, in defense of the homeland.

Learn more about us and discover how your organization can partner with S&T to make the homeland more secure.
