SAVER Project: Air-Purifying Respirators

Air-purifying respirators (APRs) remove particulate matter, gases, or vapors from the atmosphere. They can be used to protect responders in environments contaminated with chemical or biological agents, radiological or nuclear materials, or other hazardous materials when the correct canister is used.

The Focus Group Report, Market Survey Report, and Assessment Report on Air-Purifying Respirators are limited distribution documents, and are available in the SAVER Community on First Responder Community of Practice (FRCoP).
