SAVER Project: Lifting Airbags

Lifting airbags are inflatable "pillows" constructed from combinations of strong rubber, nylon, and/or aramid fiber materials. Responders use these airbags on slopes and soft, marshy, or uneven ground to disperse weight more evenly; they are also used in restricted spaces or in flammable environments.
