Personnel Location Systems

Personnel Location Systems

Personnel location systems are a type of location-based service that combines the abilities of cellular networks, radio frequency transmitters and receivers, wireless Internet, or Bluetooth with GPS. These systems allow responders to maintain personnel accountability and safety.

The Focus Group Report, Assessment Report, Requirements Analysis, Product and Vendor Matrix, and Technology Selection Guide on Personnel Location Systems are limited distribution documents, and are available in the SAVER Community on First Responder Communities of Practice (FRCoP).
