Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) personal protective equipment (PPE) may consist of traditional full coverage or "heavy protective" bomb suits, as well as lighter weight and less protective "search" or demining suits. These suits provide responders with primary blast, fragmentation, impact, and thermal protection.
