SAVER Project: Surface Water Operations Fins

Surface water operations rescue fins are designed to be short, permitting the user to walk without removing them. They are used during search and rescue operations by specially trained responders in swift water environments to increase speed and maneuverability, reduce fatigue, and enhance operational capabilities.

The Focus Group Report, Market Survey Report, and Assessment Report on Surface Water Operations Fins are limited distribution documents, and are available in the SAVER Community on First Responder Communities of Practice (FRCoP).

Find this project in the FEMA Authorized Equipment List and InterAgency Board Interactive Standardized Equipment List.
