Watercraft-Mounted Thermal Imagers

Watercraft-Mounted Thermal Imagers

Thermal imagers display the heat signatures of objects within a field of view; marine-grade thermal imagers are designed to be mounted on watercraft, and to withstand harsh maritime operating conditions. These devices aid in ensuring the safety of responders during navigation, surveillance, and search and rescue operations.

The Focus Group Report and Assessment Report on Watercraft-Mounted Thermal Imagers are limited distribution documents, and are available in the SAVER Community on First Responder Communities of Practice (FRCoP).
