Handheld Radiation Survey Meters

Handheld Radiation Survey Meters

Handheld radiation survey meters are portable instruments that measure the activity or the exposure rate from radioactive material. Responders use these devices where radioactivity is suspected to be present in order to locate or assess the intensity of the radioactivity.

The Focus Group Report, Market Survey Report (2010), and Assessment Report on Handheld Radiation Survey Meters are limited distribution documents, and are available in the SAVER Community on First Responder Communities of Practice (FRCoP).
