SAVER Project: Ion Mobility Spectrometers

Ion mobility spectrometers (IMS) can detect a multitude of compounds including explosives, illicit drugs, and chemical warfare agents. Responders use IMS to detect chemicals, explosives, and narcotic compounds in a variety of operating environments.
